A channel is an invite-only storefront inside the marketplace. Its listings go through the same review, sell for the same wallet credits, and update the same way as public ones, but only the channel’s members can open, buy, or install them. A channel listing never appears in public browse or search, on profiles, or in the featured strip; members see it in their own marketplace.

Join a channel

Channels are joined by invite. Open the invite link the owner sent you (rebind.gg/marketplace/channels/invite?code=...), sign in, and choose Join channel. The channel’s scripts then appear in your marketplace, on rebind.gg and in the app. A link that has expired, run out of uses, or been revoked says “This invite no longer works.” Ask the owner for a new one. An owner can also let people ask to join. Then anyone who opens a link to the channel or one of its listings sees its name and owner and a Request access button. The owner approves or declines, and you get a notification either way. When the owner takes no requests, a link to a channel listing opens as not found for anyone who is not a member or an earlier buyer.

Browse and buy

In the app, joined channels are listed under Channels in the Marketplace rail, each with its number of listings. Opening one shows its listings, its owner and member count, a Show in my marketplace switch, and Manage on rebind.gg. A channel you show mixes its listings into Browse beside the public ones; a channel you hide keeps them on its own page only and is dimmed in the rail. Buying works as for any listing: in the app, with wallet credits, one-time or by subscription. See Buying scripts. rebind.gg shows a channel’s listings to its signed-in members, with Get in Rebind or Install in Rebind to open them in the app; it does not sell them. Copy link on a channel listing copies its normal listing link. Members open the listing; everyone else gets the request page or not found, as above. Channel scripts are not for passing on: the app offers no Share for their files, and Rebind refuses a share code upload it recognizes as one.

Manage your memberships

Channels in your account on rebind.gg (rebind.gg/account/channels) lists every channel you belong to, with its Show in my marketplace switch and Leave. The switch applies on rebind.gg and in the app. A request that is still waiting shows “Request sent.”

Leaving, removal, and closing

When you leave a channel, or its owner removes you:
  • Subscriptions to its scripts stop renewing and keep working until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Its free scripts leave your library and get no more updates.
  • Scripts you bought outright keep working and keep updating.
A subscription cancelled this way resumes only if you become a member again. After a removal you cannot rejoin by invite or ask again until the owner restores you. Removal is sent as a notification and by email. When an owner closes a channel, every membership ends. Subscriptions to its scripts stop renewing and keep working until the end of the period paid for, and they cannot be resumed. Free scripts you took and scripts you bought outright keep working. Closing is final. If you bought a listing before it moved into a channel, you keep it and its updates without joining, and a subscription to it keeps renewing.

Run a channel

Any signed-in account with a claimed @handle can create channels, up to 10 open at a time. Owner tools are in the app, under Publish in the Marketplace rail, in the Channels section. New channel asks for a name, a slug, and an optional description. The slug is 1 to 32 lowercase letters, digits, and hyphens, and does not start or end with a hyphen. It is how rebind.toml names the channel, and it cannot be changed later. Manage on a channel’s row opens its tools:
  • Settings: the name, the description, and Let people ask to join.
  • Invites: Create invite with an optional maximum number of uses and an optional expiry date up to a year ahead. Copy link copies the invite link; Revoke stops it working. A channel has at most 50 live invites.
  • Requests: Approve or Decline each request. A declined request can still be approved later.
  • Members: Remove ends a member’s access as described under Leaving, removal, and closing. Restore makes a removed member active again at once.
  • Close channel ends every membership. Your listings stay in the closed channel, where no one new can buy them, until you move them. A closed channel cannot be reopened.
On rebind.gg, your own channels appear under Account > Channels with Manage in Rebind.

Place a listing in a channel

A listing can be in at most one of your channels. Set the channel in either of two ways:
  • In the manifest. channel = "<slug>" under [marketplace] in rebind.toml places the listing at every publish that states it, and channel = false takes it out. Leave the key out to manage placement from the app. A listing with a channel cannot also set private = true. See Package format.
  • In the app. Move in the listing’s row menu under Publish, with No channel or one of your open channels.
A move applies at once, without review, even on a live listing. Every version still goes through review, and the reviewer sees which channel it is in. A placed listing leaves the featured strip. Members who show the channel get a notification when a live listing moves in, and when a listing published into the channel is first approved. People who already have the listing keep it and its updates. Make private is not offered for a channel listing. A private listing moved into a channel stays off the channel’s page and out of members’ browse until you make it public; members can still open it from a link. If Rebind suspends a channel, new members, sales, and the channel page pause until the suspension is lifted. Until then its owner cannot approve requests, restore members, or move its listings out. The owner is told why.
